The Stang Invasion VIII, presented by Iowa Mustangs Unstabled & Ames Ford Performance, will be held on Saturday June 8th at the Cedar Falls Raceway in Iowa! That is right, we are hosting this event at a new location for 2024. There will be massive cruises, ¼ mile drag racing, the world-famous burnout contest and more. We had a ton of beautiful cars out last year and are expecting another record turnout of badass rides for the Stang Invasion VIII. The event is still FREE TO ATTEND! Saturday June 8th: This is the BIG day @ The Cedar Falls Raceway Address: 7227 Waverly Rd, Cedar Falls, IA 50613 This event will take place at the Cedar Falls Raceway located in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls metro! Join 700+ Mustangs for a massive cruise with meet spots in Eastern, Central and Western Iowa as we roll into the track. We will have separate events with the meet spots and times. Once at the track enjoy drag racing from 11am till dark. Love loud cars and burnouts? Take part in our burnout and exhaust contest. Racing is only $40 per car and is purchased at the track. VIP passes will be available at a later date with some killer perks! We will have a ton of food, donut and ice cream trucks running the entire day. Central Iowa Meet Spot- Ames Ford Performance, 123 Airport Rd, Ames, IA 50010. We will be doing a Cars and Coffee event here from 8:00-10:00am. Rolling at 10:00 sharp. Coffee will be available on site! Eastern Iowa Meet Spot- Junge Automotive Group, 1200 Boyson Road, Hiawatha, IA 52233. We will be doing a Cars and Coffee event here from 8:00-10:00am. Rolling at 10:00 sharp. We will have Tom's Travelling Coffee truck serving everything from iced coffees to lattes. Gates open at 10am and we will kick off racing at 11am. After all the Mustangs are parked and settled, we are inviting all the local clubs and cars to enter the track. All makes and models are welcome to race at noon. Burnout Contest: 2:00pm Exhaust Contest: 4:00pm Racing until Dark Feel free to join us on these cruise ins or make your own. Just don’t miss it! FAQ Trailer Parking- There will be trailer parking on the south end of the facility in the grass. VIP Passes- We will have a limited number of VIP passes with some new perks. These will be available in April of 2024. Who can attend the show and shines- All makes and models are encouraged to attend the show and shines. What time do gates open- Gates open at 10am. No one is getting in earlier. What time does racing start- Tech opens at 11am. Racing goes until dark. It is $40 per car no matter make or model. Racing for non-mustangs starts at noon. Where's the meet spot in my town- Feel free to make your own cruise in spot. We have dedicated spots in major metros. Room discounts- We are working with the Hilton Garden Hotel and will have 150 rooms available at a special discount. Details to come.
